Experience Overview

A pure dining experience.

Immerse yourself in the soothing ambience of Mazu, as the genteel lighting and refined decor put your spirit at ease. In keeping with our namesake and her connection with nature, we have built the Mazu Lounge using environmentally friendly materials that are both sustainable and renewable.

The ceiling is made of bamboo, a fast-growing grass, to help reduce the need for hardwood. The surfaces of our bar, counters, and tables are constructed with paper that has been produced by Richlite™, from environmentally sustainable managed North American forests. Our painstaking attention to detail continues with the chairs that have been selected for Mazu's dining room. These are constructed from solid wood that has been ecologically harvested by GREENculture™ to meet stringent earth-friendly criteria. Virtually everywhere that you look in Mazu, you will see ecologically friendly material: organic linoleum flooring, recycled polyester wall covering, and wall paints that contain extremely low levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.Cs).

Of course all of this beauty would only be skin deep if we were not actively moderating our own impact on the environment. Mazus kitchen exhaust hood system was designed by BPA Air Quality Solutions to collect 98% of all condensations (grease, vaporized oils, and fats), 80% of all smoke, and over 90% of the odors associated with the cooking process.
